The beamforming process
Measurements are taken from a scaleable number of microphones. The arrangement of the microphones ( microphone array) can be configured freely and realised for 32 to 1,000 channels using multi-chassis synchronisation. We tailor the offer to match your specific needs. The integrated wizard makes fast microphone arrangement possible. At the same time, it is possible to choose between various default arrangements as well as a user defind one. A performance test which is based on the simulation of virtual sources checks the functionality of the configuration.
Following synchronised sound pressure measurements, the sound radiation from the different locations is calculated and depicted in colour, taking the different delays and summing up all signals. This process is the top selection for fast, precise measurements. |
